Green Chutney for Sandwiches

  • 1 cup freshly grated coconut
  • 1 cup chopped coriander or cilantro leaves
  • 2 green chilies or according to taste
  • 2 tspns. lemon juice
  • 1 to 11/2 tsp. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. cumin seeds
  • Salt to taste

Put all ingredients in a small blender.  Blend till smooth. Add very little water as required. Use on buttered or non-buttered bread for sandwiches.
